HR Generalist
Job Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
- Oversee and manage all phases of the hiring process from start to finish.
- Collaborate with department leaders to define and craft comprehensive job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring they are smoothly integrated into the organization.
- Monitor all tasks related to the onboarding and offboarding process to ensure timely completion of HR responsibilities.
- Track employee referral programs and manage incentive payments.
- Develop sourcing strategies for recruitment, building connections with local services, schools, employment agencies, and online platforms.
- Represent the company at career fairs and organize recruitment events to expand outreach.
- Handle pre-employment reference checks, application responses, and background verification processes.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas of improvement and efficiency.
- Employee Relations and Support:
- Serve as the main contact point for employee queries, concerns, and issues, offering timely and accurate support.
- Benefits Administration:
- Manage employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Provide assistance to employees with benefits-related inquiries and resolve any related issues.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Learning and Development:
- Assist in implementing professional growth initiatives to support employee skill development and career progression.
- HR Policies and Procedures:
- Ensure consistent application and enforcement of company policies and HR procedures.
- HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze HR data to produce reports on key workforce metrics and trends.
- Utilize insights gained from data to recommend improvements in HR processes and systems.
- HR Initiatives and Projects:
- Participate in HR initiatives such as diversity, inclusion, employee engagement, and process optimization projects.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline (certification is an added advantage).
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Recruiter/HR Generalist or in a similar HR position.
- Ability to design and implement effective sourcing strategies for recruiting across various roles.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Expertise in using HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Flexible and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
