Staff Accountant

SNI Companies is currently seeking an experienced Staff  Accountant here in the Orlando, FL area
This is direct-hire opportunity and looking to interview and have someone start soon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform weekly invoicing and produce pay applications for contract jobs
  
• Collaborate with the Director to analyze and produce a 13-week cash forecast process
  
• Build reports and dashboards to provide proactive business insights
  
• Conduct account analysis and reporting as needed
  
• Play an integral role in the budgeting and forecasting process
  
• Assist with the month-end close process, including entries and reconciliations
  
• Support the annual financial review and work alongside the analytics team to develop reporting and modeling
  
• Provide ad hoc analysis and assist with process and system improvement efforts
  

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong Excel skills: knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and Acumatica is a plus
  
• Independent, self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow
  
• Technology and process improvement mindset with attention to detail
  
• Solid cost accounting, GAAP knowledge, and analytical problem-solving skills
  
• 4-year degree in accounting or finance; CPA or CCIFP certification is a plus
  

Construction accounting background is highly desired with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
