We are seeking a skilled cable assembly specialist to join our expanding team. This role involves assembling, inspecting, and testing cable harnesses according to customer specifications and strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled cable assembly specialist to join our expanding team. This role involves assembling, inspecting, and testing cable harnesses according to customer specifications and strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and accurately interpret customer blueprints, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and work instructions.
- Demonstrated proficiency in cutting, stripping, soldering, and terminating wires in accordance with customer specifications.
- Effectively utilize hand tools, including wire cutters, wire strippers, and a variety of hand crimping tools.
- Conduct in-process inspections at different stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Understand industry-specific standards and construct or inspect products in compliance with these guidelines.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues during production, providing valuable feedback to improve processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Work collaboratively within a diverse team.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical training or certifications in electronics or a related field are preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing, particularly in the cable assembly industry.
- Familiarity with standard tools used in manufacturing environments.
- Ability to read and understand customer blueprints.
- Proficient in reading a ruler and understanding fundamental units of measurement.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
- Motivated and eager to learn new technologies and assembly methodologies, with a willingness to adapt.
