Branch Manager

Staffing Now Amherst, NY (Onsite) Full-Time

Experience Required: 2–5 years in building materials with managerial responsibilities.

Overview:
Our client is looking for a Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, staff management, and customer satisfaction. The role focuses on driving sales, profitability, and store performance while aligning with the company's goal of being a top supplier in the building materials industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales efforts and ensure financial goals are met

  • Manage hiring, training, and staff performance

  • Maintain customer relationships and set pricing/terms

  • Oversee inventory, returns, and store operations

  • Enforce safety, maintenance, and work rules

  • Step in to support branch staff when needed

Qualifications:

  • Retail management and sales success, preferably in building materials, tile, or stone

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills

  • Proficiency with business systems.

  • Background in design/architecture or a bachelor's degree is a plus
