Paralegal

Staffing Now, a division of SNI Companies, has partnered with our client to hire a full-time Paralegal.  The position would be supporting the litigation team in pursuing and recovering amounts owed to its clients.

Principle Duties:

• Document Handling: Prepare, file, and serve legal documents using templates and the Colorado Courts’ e-filing system
  
• Research and Coordination: Locate defendants and gather necessary information through research and coordination with in-house staff
  
• Communication: Interact with clients, defendants, attorneys, and court personnel to facilitate case progress
  
• Reporting and Training: Report to the Partner Attorney, train other staff in paralegal functions, and provide general support as needed
  

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years of legal administration experience working in a professional environment
  
• Must be a professional, organized self-starter who can interact effectively with all levels of staff and clients in a fast-paced setting
  
• Strong proactive work ethic, anticipation of needs, excellent decision-making skills, meticulous attention to detail, and flexibility is essential
  

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation for this position starts at $25.00 an hour.  Your actual pay rate will be determined based upon your skills, knowledge and abilities including work experience
