SNI has partnered with a State of the Art Food Manufacturing Company in Fairfield County looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team.
How have you taken responsibility for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards? Would you love to smell delicious food all day?
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment, following OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and SQF Level 8 certification guidelines.
- Accurately complete and document work orders.
- Communicate equipment status and repairs across shifts.
- Identify and address process improvements and preventative maintenance opportunities.
- Maintain proper tool accountability and parts inventory.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of mechanical and electrical experience in an industrial setting.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and electro-mechanical repair skills.
- Background in electrical testing, machining, welding, and PLC operations.
