Assembler / Electro-Mechanical - St. Petersburg, FL. 1st shift up to $18 Temp/Hire opportunity.

Job Overview:
As a Production Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling complex electronic and mechanical products according to process guidelines and quality standards. This role includes training co-workers, troubleshooting, and ensuring product quality through audits and rework.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble basic to complex products following documentation, prints, and bills of materials.
• Use soldering techniques (IPC certified) and troubleshoot/rework products as needed.
• Train and instruct co-workers on assembly methods.
• Maintain clean work areas to 5S standards.
• Assist in developing and improving Standardized Work documentation.
• Perform product audits and manage in-house calibration and maintenance of equipment.
• Operate mechanical/electrical assembly tools and equipment.
• Follow safe working practices and company policies.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on gas detection equipment.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented with strong manual dexterity and math aptitude.
• Proficient in reading prints and process documentation.
• Knowledge of electrical principles, including ESD and surface mount technology.
• Must be able to lift up to 20lbs.
• Minimum 1 year of production assembly experience.
