We are looking for a Construction Administrator in the Clearwater/St. Petersburg/Tampa area.

Responsibilities:
• Primary role of the Construction Administrative Assistant will be to provide support to the office manager, project manager, contractor, and other construction management staff, specifically with permitting, inspections, warranty service, and construction project tracking
• Answer incoming calls and respond to emails in a prompt and professional manner
• Create new, and maintain open service tickets for warranty repair requests, or punch list items from existing clients
• Call in required inspections to various municipalities, check inspection results, coordinate and schedule corrections of failed inspections with installation crews and/or foreman, and accurately maintain records for all completed inspections
• Complete permit applications, including filling out and organizing all supporting documents required by each municipality, and coordinate drop off/pick up of permits if necessary
• Track permit progression, relay any necessary plan revisions to engineer, or make corrections to application and/or supporting documents as required
• Pay fees associated with permits or failed inspections, follow-up to ensure all requirements are met to close out existing permits once work is complete, and maintain an accurate record of all permit information
• Assist project manager, foreman and contractor with coordinating daily schedules for various crews and create and maintain accurate records of schedules
• Construction project milestone tracking and scheduling for construction management services, maintaining accurate records and reporting status updates to clients
Qualifications:
• Proficient in computer skills, especially Excel and Word
• The ability to create and maintain spreadsheets is necessary for this role
• Strong communication with active listening skills required
• Strong attention to detail and organization, ability to multi-task, set priorities and excellent time management skills are needed
• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
