HR Assistant

Staffing Now Austin, TX (Onsite) Contract to Hire

SNI Companies has partnered with North Austin based firm to add a Junior Administrative Assistant to support the HR Manager and staff in busy corporate office.

 The office coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the office, ensuring that the office operations are smooth and efficient.

Due to the nature of this role, the employee will work on-site, in-office Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Essential Job Functions
  • Coordinate and assist with stocking office and breakroom supplies, and groceries, while helping maintain a clean and organized office environment.
  • Assist with front office operations and provide general administrative support.
  • Assist with maintaining technology inventory, coordinating upgrades, and supporting hardware/software needs for in-office and remote employees.
  • Sort incoming mail, and scan/deliver it to the appropriate department or individual, process outgoing mail.
  • Support department managers to ensure efficient site operations.
  • Assist with monitoring office supply inventory and placing orders as needed.
  • Coordinate company events and support human resource initiatives under the direction of the HR director.
  • Coordinate scheduling for on-site meetings and events.
  • Provide general support for HR-related activities as needed.
  • Provide general support for internal employee requests.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive office culture through team engagement and administrative support.
  • Coordinate maintenance needs for office suites and work with the facilities manager to schedule necessary repairs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive information and to maintain confidential information, records, and files.
  • Effective and clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly proficient use of software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
