Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail-oriented, bilingual (English & Spanish) Bookkeeper to join our team
The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, experience in the steel or trading industry, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare financial statements and reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
- Handle payroll processing, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Manage vendor invoices, payments, and client billing
- Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and information
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members in both English and Spanish

**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role (experience in the steel or trading industry is a plus)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting software
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High level of integrity and professionalism

**Education:**
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
