Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and control over annual physical inventory.
• Work closely with production control and purchasing in identifying and resolving issues related to manufacturing needs – material requirements, costing and data collection.
• Preparing and reporting monthly financial performance and analytics.
• Prepare and review variance analysis on operating results.
• Work closely with the accounting team in performing financial month-end close procedures
• Work with auditors to provide all necessary documentation for completion of quarterly review and annual audit requirements.
• Review and update internal control procedures in all financial processes. Work with auditors to document, test, and report on internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR / SOX 404 requirements).Work with Controller preparing and filing SEC documents (10-K, 10-Q and 8-K’s).
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5+ years of public financial reporting experience – industry and/or audit

• 3 - 5+ years of cost accounting experience with a manufacturing company

• Strong proficiency with Excel & ERP software

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
