SNI Companies, a division of GEE Group Inc, is partnering with a local real estate company in hiring for a Senior Paralegal to join their team. The Senior Paralegal will support in-house attorneys with complex commercial, industrial, and multi-family real estate transactions, including contract negotiation, due diligence, financing, and closing. In addition, assisting with leasing matters such as lease amendments, abstracts, estoppel certificates, and SNDAs. Experience in both local and national transactions is preferred.
Responsibilities:
The compensation for this position starts at $90,000 a year (plus bonus). Your actual pay rate will be determined based upon your skills, knowledge and abilities, including work experience

Responsibilities:
- Review title commitments, surveys, and purchase/sale agreements; prepare objection letters and coordinate with title companies and surveyors to resolve issues.
- Coordinate and review due diligence for acquisitions, dispositions, and financing; draft critical dates memoranda and closing instructions.
- Prepare lease amendments, abstracts, estoppels, subordination agreements, and various transactional documents (e.g., deeds, UCC filings).
- Work closely with escrow/title agents, lender representatives, management companies, and tenants; follow up on post-closing issues and prepare closing binders.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred; 8+ years of commercial real estate experience, ideally in a law firm, in-house legal department, or title company
- Extensive expertise in commercial title and survey review, with strong interaction experience with title agents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel; advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, and deliver consistent, high-quality work.
- Detail-oriented, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate effectively with title/escrow agents to resolve issues
