Position Summary:
Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and PLC-controlled systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, align, repair, and overhaul mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment.
Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs, VFDs, and related systems. Some work with CNC machines.
Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings/schematics.
Perform electrical wiring, circuitry, control panel, and motor repairs per NEC standards.
Collaborate with other trades; may lead repair projects.
Order parts, estimate labor/materials, and support facilities maintenance (repairs, equipment installs, snow removal, etc.).
Requirements:
5+ years’ maintenance experience in manufacturing; relevant degree/certification preferred. E2 license nice to have.
Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with PLCs, ladder logic, motor controls, and microprocessor-based equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills; fluent in English.
