Senior Marketing Coordinator/Team Lead
An engineering firm in Somerset County is looking to hire a Senior Marketing Coordinator/Marketing Team Lead to interact with multiple offices throught New Jersey and Eastern PA but preferably based out of the location in Somerset County. The company is a dynamic, multi?disciplined consulting civil engineering firm of Engineers, Certified Inspectors, Landscape Architects, Planners and Land Surveyors. With offices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, we provide expertise in all of the major areas of civil engineering, municipal engineering, municipal planning, and land surveying.
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Marketing Team Lead/Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Somerset County, NJ!
The Senior Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing a wide range of marketing activities that promote the firm’s brand, support business development goals, and showcase the firm’s engineering services and projects. This position plays a key leadership role within the marketing team, working cross-functionally with project managers, technical staff, executives, and external vendors to ensure the delivery of strategic, high-quality content and marketing materials. The Senior Marketing Coordinator will regularly collaborate at each of our branch offices to facilitate the production of quality marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the activities of the marketing team, ensuring high-quality, timely output of collateral material and digital content.
- Regularly visit branch offices to collaborate with project managers and technical staff to gather project data, milestones, and insights for marketing use.
- Work with leadership and outside vendors to align marketing efforts with firm-wide strategic goals and business development initiatives.
- Manage development of marketing content such as project narratives, staff bios, service descriptions, and award submittals.
- Provide support to the proposal team.
- Ensure the library of marketing assets is maintained and updated on a routine basis. This includes boilerplate text, resumes, project sheets, and photography.
- Oversee social media and digital presence, ensuring consistent posting, regular updates and messaging aligned with firm branding and goals.
- Support firmwide implementation of branding standards for all marketing and communications materials.
- Track marketing metrics and prepare reports on proposal hit rates, digital engagement, and content effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Proven experience supporting marketing within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering,
- Construction) industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to translate technical
- information into compelling content.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), Microsoft Office, and marketing
- platforms (e.g., HubSpot, WordPress, LinkedIn).
- Experience with CRM, proposal management systems, or digital asset management tools is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, as this position requires frequent travel to our offices throughout NJ and PA
