Laboratory Assistant

Staffing Now Kissimmee, FL (Onsite) Contractor
SNI Companies is seeking a Laboratory Assistant in the Kissimmee, FL area.

This position is onsite - Monday to Friday/8:00am to 4:30pm
Pay: $18.56 Per Hour

The laboratory assistant will support the daily operations of the laboratory, assisting with various tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of the lab. This role involves preparing samples, maintaining equipment, documenting experiments, and adhering to safety and compliance guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in the lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sample Preparation: Prepare and process samples for analysis, ensuring accurate labeling and storage.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments according to standard operating procedures.
  • Data Entry: Accurately record and manage data from experiments, tests, and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and restock lab supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are available and properly stored.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other lab staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication within the team.
Qualifications :
  • A minimum of a high school diploma 
  • Minimum of one year relevant work experience.
  • MUST be able to pass a full background and drug screening
