Monitoring Center Manager
Confidential search- 90-100k Direct hire. Mon-Fri 7-4pm occasional Sat or Sunday will be on call a couple weeks a month. Company pays 100% of Health, Dental, they offer tuition reimbursement and more full benefits listed below
Monitoring Center Manager is a professional in charge of guiding, monitoring, and leading an entire group. They are responsible for motivating their team as well as inspiring positive communication within them so that they can work together toward achieving common goals. It is the leader's responsibility to create a culture that supports and forwards the company's vision and values.
Responsibilities:
- On Call 24/7 – 365 for any Monitoring Center issues (short staff, automation update, storm).
- Build a supportive culture and vision that supports our employees while holding all accountable to our set standards.
- Interview, train and develop all current and prospective monitoring center employees.
- Oversees all operator, supervisor & technical manager training.
- Oversees all Scheduling and payroll for Monitoring Center staff.
Requirements:
- Overall Leadership and Management of the Monitoring Center:
- Create and Implement policies, procedures, and workflows for optimal customer care and effectiveness. Policies should align with WAS company values and operating posture, supporting the annual financial goals and objectives set by management.
- Manage your team’s by promoting, training and requiring excellence, by providing a superior customer service experience to each customer, both internal and external.
- Manage the Monitoring Center team that will be required to handle a high volume of calls, including answering and directing inquiries in a timely and customer-centric manner.
- Manage, train and motivate a team of monitoring center representatives to exceed customer and company expectations.
- Manage, train and motivate a team of monitoring center Supervisors leading them to become the next generation of leadership in the Monitoring Center
- Special projects as required
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture that motivates employees
- Communicate and enforce company vision and values to all members, holding all accountable in supporting our values and process and procedures.
- Delegate and empower team members
- Provide timely feedback to employees regarding performance
- Discover training needs and provide coaching, mentoring and training opportunities for improvements working with Monitoring Center Technical Manager
- Listen to team members feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts in a timely manner
- Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments
- Encourage creativity and risk-taking
- Keep team members informed through consistent communication
- Familiar with common business software such as excel, Google and understand technology
Required Education and Experience
- GED or High School equivalent
