We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a background in the electrical field to oversee and manage commercial and/or industrial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will hold a Journeyman Electrician License, have prior estimating experience, and possess at least 2+ years of project management experience within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Salary Range: $100-110k DOE plus commission
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a background in the electrical field to oversee and manage commercial and/or industrial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will hold a Journeyman Electrician License, have prior estimating experience, and possess at least 2+ years of project management experience within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical construction projects ensuring scope, schedule, and budget objectives are met
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, field crews, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution
- Prepare project documentation including estimates, budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Perform job cost analysis and maintain financial oversight throughout project lifecycle
- Oversee procurement of materials and ensure delivery aligns with project timelines
- Manage project safety in collaboration with the safety team, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and resolve any field issues
- Support estimating efforts for upcoming projects and contribute to bid proposals
- Review project plans, specifications, and electrical drawings for accuracy and completeness
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in electrical or general construction
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, code compliance, and construction methods
- Proficiency with project management and estimating software (e.g.,Conest Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Accubid, etc.)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong financial acumen and attention to detail
- OSHA 30 certification
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
