SNI Companies is seeking an experienced Accounting / Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our client’s team in Hyattsville, MD. This role offers the opportunity to oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll Management – Process payroll, manage tax deposits, and prepare quarterly reports and reconciliations across all three metro jurisdictions.

• Accounts Payable (A/P) – Process invoices, reconcile with purchase orders, and issue timely payments to maximize available discounts.

• Accounts Receivable (A/R) – Process incoming checks, apply payments to billing, and maintain accurate A/R records.

• Bank Reconciliations – Complete monthly bank reconciliations with precision and accuracy.

• Financial Reporting & Analysis – Reconcile cash flow to job costs monthly; maintain and update WIP (Work in Progress) schedules.

• Software & Tools – Utilize Sage/Timberline accounting software along with Microsoft Excel and Word to manage daily accounting operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or similar accounting role.

• Proficiency with Sage/Timberline, Microsoft Excel, and Word.

• Strong understanding of payroll, A/P, A/R, and bank reconciliation processes.

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
