Staffing Manager
Staffing Managers are responsible for meet hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates. They are generally responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process. This entails sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment negotiations, all while ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications.
- Attracting suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc
- Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.
- Perform reference checks as need
- Manage onboarding and new hire process
- Manage the scheduling and logistics of all applicant interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Establish best practices recruiting and placement procedures and design and manage career center internet site and resume database.
- Leverage online recruiting resources & in house ATS to identify and recruit the very best candidates.
- Coordinate logistics; provide administrative and technical support for training sessions and meetings.
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable making decisions independently
- Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
