Permitting Manager

SNI Companies is currently recruiting for a Permitting Manager here in the Orlando, FL area.

This position will be responsible for managing the construction of homes in multiple subdivisions. The position will supervise and train construction field personnel, manage sub-contractor relationships, handle customer escalations, and ensure homes are delivered on time and within the budget.

Responsibilities:

• Review, prepare, submit and receive permit packages 
• Manage staff and subcontractors charged with submitting and receiving permits
• Be an advocate for the company and work to streamline permit processes
• Compile data, handle paperwork, file permits, monitor each status of the permit approval process until projects are completed

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience with construction permitting specifically in residential home building
• Strong computer and communications skills are very important.
• Proficiency in MS Word, and MS Excel
• Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills
• Dependable and has strong leadership skills
