Production Supervisor

SNI has partnered with a reputable manufacturing company looking for a Production Supervisor who will be responsible for daily plant activities near Bloomfield, CT. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manages work relations in the plant
• Ensures that training is followed for all production employees
• Ensures the application of the general rules and regulations in the shop
• Ensures the respect of the health and security procedures
• Intervenes in the discipline process
• Responsible for the accuracy of the daily time sheets.
• Responsible for the opening and the closing of the plant 
• Updates the absenteeism file for the production employees
• Ensures the realization of the vehicles and the subassemblies in accordance with quality demands, costs and delivery dates.
• Manages the production personnel. 
• Responsible of all task realizations following the production planning report. 

EDUCATION  AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Leadership, ability to train or counsel (coaching), experience in supervision
