Job Duties
- Responsible for the registration of patients, scheduling of patient appointments, verification of insurance, entering of demographic data, collection of co-payments, etc
- Registering patients for hospital and physician clinic services in a healthcare setting
- Scheduling patient examinations, procedures, and surgery appointments for hospitals and physician clinics
- Responsible for verifying patient insurance benefit coverage via phone and online insurance payer portals
- Updating patient accounts with registration, insurance, demographic, scheduling, and billing data
- Providing superior high-volume patient customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum 2 years healthcare/medical call center experience
- Solid Understanding of Medical Terminology
- MS Office Skills
- Excellent communication skills required.
