Human Resources Specialist – Dania Bch - $60k-$65k

Statement of Purpose: This position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resource policies, programs, and practices.

Perform combination of routine calculating and payroll processing for use in maintaining accounting records. Process company credit card payments and travel expense reconciliations. Functions as backup to A/P and A/R functions, as well as Administrative Assistant. May also check the accuracy of figures, calculations and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.

Education/Professional Experience:

1. College degree in Human Resources or related field.
2. 3-5 years Human Resources experience required.
3. Experience in use of human resources data systems (Oasis and Paychex) preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

1. Knowledge of computer software programs: Microsoft Office, HR data systems.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.
4. Ability to coordinate several tasks at one time.
5. Able to work with minimal direct supervision and exercise initiative.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills a must.
7. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
