HR Generalist

Staffing Now Princeton, WV (Onsite) Full-Time

SNI Companies is working with a large medical company in Mercer County who is seeking a highly motivated and skilled HR Generalist to join their dynamic Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent while supporting the broader HR function across various initiatives. This role is 100% on-site, no remote or hybrid options at this time.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
    • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, candidate sourcing, interviews, and offer management.
    • Partner with department leaders to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and team culture to effectively recruit the best candidates.
    • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking.
    • Conduct initial phone screens, coordinate interviews, and facilitate feedback sessions to ensure smooth communication throughout the hiring process.
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
    • Assist with the development of recruitment marketing strategies to enhance employer branding and attract top talent.
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication and feedback throughout the hiring process.
  2. Onboarding & Employee Integration:
    • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all documentation is completed and new employees are set up for success from day one.
    • Coordinate with managers to ensure seamless integration into teams and a positive first impression of the company culture.
  3. HR Support:
    • Assist with general HR activities such as employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management.
    • Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
    • Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, and training.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in HR, with a strong emphasis on talent acquisition and recruiting.
  • Proven ability to manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job requisition to offer acceptance.
  • Highly proficient with HRIS, Indeed, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and ability to learn new technology platforms.
  • Experience working in UKG/Kronos a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach to talent acquisition with a focus on delivering a positive candidate experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
