Key Responsibilities
-Lead and oversee the HR team to ensure accurate employee records and benefits enrollment.
-Partner with management and executives to maintain job descriptions, talent planning, succession strategies, and organizational development.
-Direct payroll operations and oversee staff to ensure accurate processing, collaborating with the finance department on tax payments and reporting.
-Advise on organizational structure, compensation, benefits, and provide guidance on Title IX cases related to faculty and staff.
-Manage benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
-Oversee HR systems for payroll, recruitment, performance management, and personnel records.
-Consult with legal advisors as needed and support performance reviews and development plans.
-Guide managers and employees through performance and relations issues, and analyze exit interview data for trends.
-Manage new hire onboarding, training sessions on harassment, and update HR policies for compliance with laws.
-Collaborate with the business office on payroll, recruitment, and benefits, while preparing the annual HR budget and overseeing compliance.
Required Qualifications
-At least seven years of experience in senior HR roles with expertise in workforce planning, organizational design, and employee relations.
-Experience in regulated industries or educational settings is preferred.
-Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field is preferred.
-Post-graduate education or certifications such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP is preferred.
-Proven ability to build and lead teams with strong collaborative skills and experience managing partnerships.
-Adaptable leader comfortable with change and driving process improvements.
-Experience in developing and implementing HR programs in collaboration with senior leadership.
-Strong leadership qualities with a track record of inspiring staff and building trust.
-Proficiency in using systems and analytics for strategic HR decision-making.
-Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
