We are looking for an outgoing and experienced bookkeeper/Admin to perform a variety of bookkeeping skills in the office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills. and be organized.
Bookkeeper
- Knowledgeable in QuickBooks Desktop with emphasis on job costing.
- Manage all Accounts Payable- Reconcile bank accounts at month-end.
- Accounts Receivable-Enter all billing/invoices for all jobs. Input checks when received against correct invoices
- Complete Accounts Receivable spreadsheet using Report in QuickBooks, on the 15th and the last day of the month.
- Enter payroll weekly using the report downloaded from ADP and input to correct jobs. Complete Workers Comp Report, workers comp self-audit (Enter payroll and spreadsheet.
- Enter the sales tax using the excel spreadsheet that tracks the sales tax monthly.
- Enter the accrued workers comp using the monthly payroll report from ADP
- Run job cost reports for all ongoing jobs at month-end
- Complete WIP spreadsheet quarterly.
PAYROLL-Shared Duties
- Weekly payroll-Input into ADP
- Using timesheets from job Foreman to complete timecards.
- Proposals-complete proposals per estimating. Email to contractors for bidding. Assign new proposals bid file numbers, update Bid File Sheet (Update/send updates when needed, and make up file.
- Order office supplies from Staples.
