Bookkeeper-Onsite in FTL

Staffing Now Fort Lauderdale, FL (Onsite) Full-Time


We are looking for an outgoing and experienced bookkeeper/Admin to perform a variety of bookkeeping skills in the office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills. and be organized. 




Bookkeeper


  • Knowledgeable in QuickBooks Desktop with emphasis on job costing.
  • Manage all Accounts Payable- Reconcile bank accounts at month-end.
  • Accounts Receivable-Enter all billing/invoices for all jobs. Input checks when received against correct invoices
  • Complete Accounts Receivable spreadsheet using Report in QuickBooks, on the 15th and the last day of the month.
  • Enter payroll weekly using the report downloaded from ADP and input to correct jobs. Complete Workers Comp Report, workers comp self-audit (Enter payroll and spreadsheet.
  • Enter the sales tax using the excel spreadsheet that tracks the sales tax monthly.
  • Enter the accrued workers comp using the monthly payroll report from ADP
  • Run job cost reports for all ongoing jobs at month-end
  • Complete WIP spreadsheet quarterly.


PAYROLL-Shared Duties

  • Weekly payroll-Input into ADP
  • Using timesheets from job Foreman to complete timecards.
Administrative Assistant
  • Proposals-complete proposals per estimating. Email to contractors for bidding. Assign new proposals bid file numbers, update Bid File Sheet (Update/send updates when needed, and make up file.
  • Order office supplies from Staples.
