Procurement Agent
Position: Procurement Agent
Location: Hybrid
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required
Summary:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Agent to manage the sourcing of materials, services, and equipment. This role involves preparing Purchase Orders (POs) and Professional Service Agreements (PSAs), supporting multiple procurement requests simultaneously, and maintaining clear documentation and communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and route POs and PSAs for internal and external review

Support 10+ PO requisitions and manage vendor communications

Collaborate with Finance, AP, and Project teams to track procurement statuses

Negotiate terms with vendors and coordinate with legal as needed

Drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives

Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation

Engage vendors for quotes and estimates
-
Contribute to planning and budgeting aligned with company goals
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field

2–3 years in procurement or subcontract management

Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; hybrid work capable
Preferred:
-
Experience with government contracts with knowledge of FARS/DFARS
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Incoterms
- Knowledge of the Maritime Industry; particularly Vessels and Offshore capabilities
