JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Reading of diagrams, assembly drawings and to accurately build product to specification.
• Build according to customer specifications and MSPs.
• Ensure product meets quality requirements.
• Use a variety of hand tools, gauges, heat guns and equipment such as but not limited to hot tweezers, soldering irons, 2300 wire trimmers, etc.
• Prep and process wires (to include wire routing, heat shrinking, stripping, crimping, plug connectors and potting) for harness assemblies.
• Assist processes, workflow and build procedures.
• Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to industry regulations.
Qualifications / Requirements
• Electronic and mechanical aptitude is a necessity.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to read and understand wire diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Must be able to accurately use measuring tools and perform basic mathematical functions.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Able to lift up-to 30 pounds.
Desired Qualifications
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent Vocational Training.
• Experience working in an electronic / mechanical capacity, having used a wide variety of hand tools and equipment such as hand tools, power tools, wire cutters, torque wrenches, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Related Military experience.
• Willingness to work varied shifts to support surge activities.
