Quality Assurance Engineer South Pinellas County- St. Petersburg - 70K
The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring product conformance to specifications through validation testing, root cause analysis, and supplier feedback. This role supports production by resolving quality issues and managing the CAPA system. Additionally, the engineer ensures compliance with regulatory audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Experience: 5+ years working with electronic instrument validation testing. 5+ years in Quality and Regulatory requirements. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring product conformance to specifications through validation testing, root cause analysis, and supplier feedback. This role supports production by resolving quality issues and managing the CAPA system. Additionally, the engineer ensures compliance with regulatory audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough validation testing for new or updated products and create detailed testing plans.
- Actively participate in product development meetings and contribute to design processes.
- Review testing plans and collaborate with departments to ensure logical and thorough validation.
- Provide detailed test reports with results and improvement suggestions.
- Support current production quality through root cause analysis and internal quality issue resolution.
- Manage PCA test fixture inventory and troubleshoot/repaired defective fixtures.
- Oversee the internal CAPA system, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Conduct product audits to ensure manufacturing conformance to specifications.
- Train personnel as needed and serve as backup for QA & RA Manager during audits.
- Demonstrate urgency and commitment in assignments.
- Promote a high-performance culture aligned with company values.
- Proactively identify and solve problems.
- Encourage continuous improvement within the team.

Skills:
- Deep understanding of electronic circuits and assemblies.
- Strong analytical, methodical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Windows Office, especially Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Assurance practices.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and troubleshoot assemblies.
