Position: Full-Charge Bookkeeper/Jr. Accountant

Job Description:

As a Full-Charge Bookkeeper/Jr. Accountant, you will play a vital role in our dynamic and stable environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Month-End Closing: Leading month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, and financial analysis.

• Accounts Payable: Managing our accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.

• Credit Card Operations: Utilizing your expertise in credit card operations, including dispute resolution and compliance with Visa/MasterCard rules and federal/state regulations.

• Cash Management: Handling cash reconciliations and reporting.

• Purchasing Cards: Managing company purchasing cards efficiently.

• Sales Tax Reporting: Preparing and submitting sales tax reports as required.

• Special Projects: Actively participating in departmental projects and assisting the Controller with ad-hoc tasks.

Required Skills:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.

• Analytical Aptitude: Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.

• Communication: Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Time Management: Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and effectively organize daily responsibilities.

• Bilingual: Being fully bilingual is highly preferred.

Education/Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience will be considered.
