Operator, Set-Up with correct tooling, work-holding, and material, ensuring proper alignment and calibration
Operator, Set-Up with correct tooling, work-holding, and material, ensuring proper alignment and calibration
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to use precision measuring tools, ie: calipers and micrometers
- Mathematical Skills for calculations related to dimensions and cutting parameters
- Ensure quality standards are met often using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software to create the necessary machine programs
- Identify and resolve machine malfunctions or programming errors
- Routine PM's to ensure optimal performance
