Distribution Operations Coordinator

SNI Companies is seeking a mid-level Inventory and Distribution Specialist to join our client's team! In this position, you will support the implementation of effective inventory counting processes and collaborate with both warehouse and finance teams to establish efficient inventory management practices.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage inventory counting and physical inventory activities.
• Conduct counts and reconcile specified items and locations.
• Collaborate to identify solutions for recurring issues.
• Collect, verify, and report statistical data related to inventory trends.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, documenting their history for relevant stakeholders.
• Process adjustments for inventory reasons, including kits, damages, and discrepancies.
• Suggest improvements for inventory management efficiency.
• Analyze data to identify and correct system discrepancies.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including reach trucks and pallet jacks.
• Maintain physical stamina for extended periods and perform tasks that include lifting up to 35 pounds regularly.
• Work in areas with exposure to warehouse operations and material handling equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of inventory management experience, preferably in a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with fast-paced distribution operations.
• Experience with inventory management software like SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Sage, etc. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of inventory regulatory processes and strong analytical abilities.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations.
