Customer Service Rep

Staffing Now Holliston, MA (Onsite) Contract to Hire
Customer Service Rep- $23-$25hr Temp to perm 

The Customer Service Representative position is responsible for overseeing customer accounts while providing timely responses to customer inquiries, and satisfactory resolution of outstanding issues.
Essential Functions

  • Maintain customer accounts and deliver best in class service
  • Partner with Sales Managers to ensure pricing and target margins
  • Explore/probe all aspects of customer needs to generate cross-sale solutions and grow business
  • Respond to customer communications by phone or email within one business day
  • Quote charges to customers for goods and services based on approved pricing structure
  • Process customer orders in Ward Process business system in accordance to standard operating procedures
  • Coordinate with Scheduling, Manufacturing and Shipping departments to execute timely deliveries
  • Collect and identify order discrepancies, customer complaints, and business opportunities to resolve issues and better address challenges
  • Enter, correct, and compile customer account profiles in database to track customer trends and company information
  • Provide internal stakeholders customer status updates to improve processing of customer orders
  • Refer customers when necessary to Sales Manager to address additional customer needs
  • Track departmental metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement
  • Miscellaneous duties when not performing Customer Representative functions may include filing customer/vendor invoices, purchase orders, and sales orders, assisting with order processing and providing other administrative functions as needed


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma with 5+ years of customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards helpful.
  • Experience in acoustic noise and vibration control industry preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Strong data analysis skills required.
  • Demonstrated project leadership and people management skills.
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal communication skills; effectively interacts across all levels of the organization and is able to influence team dynamics toward goal attainment.
  • Capable of delivering constructive feedback and providing leadership in a cross functional environment
  • Must have strong Word/Excel computer skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibits energetic, hands on approach.
  • Proven change agent.
