We are seeking a Telemarketer to work for our sales team focusing on cultivating new business leads and demos. The Telemarketer will provide qualified leads and set up product demonstrations for the sales team. The ideal candidates will have a background in customer service or sales as well as being tech savvy. This role is temporary with the opportunity to become permanent and is based out of New Hope, PA office.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the sales team to determine qualified leads and to set up product demonstrations
  • Cold calls, emails and other networking activities to consistently build sales pipeline
  • Promote usage of client's products and websites by networking with High School Athletic Directors, Coaches, Booster Clubs, Youth League organizations, Players and Parents
  • Daily updates in Amped, our in-house customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Create reports on customer usage and follow up on inactive accounts
  • Adhering to phone call and other communication metrics as set forth by management
  • Perform market research and competitor research
  • Provide additional sales support as required by your supervisor
  • Miscellaneous duties, as assigned

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in local high school sports
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least a year of customer support that include sales responsibilities and account management (up-selling, cross selling, price quotes and implementation) is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interest in technology as a solution
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to meet with potential clients, if needed
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • High School and College Athletics experience is a plus+++
