SNI Companies is currently seeking an experienced Project Accountant here in the Orlando, FL area. This is direct-hire opportunity and looking to interview and have someone start soon.
Responsibilities:
- Review contracts
- Work closely with Upper Management in preparing client billing for work performed.
- Prepare invoice packages for all billable projects.
- Prepare and obtain all lien waivers
- Verify and reconcile accurate project costs and revenue.
- Follow up on aged receivables and ensure timely collection of all billings.
- Make daily cash/check deposits as required
- Verify Insurance coverage for subcontractors.
- Set up new vendors.
- Review, code, and process accounts payable invoices
- Assist the project management team
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (strongly preferred)
• Minimum five plus years in general accounting processes
• Prior accounts payable and invoicing experience
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screening
