We're on the lookout for a dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead our dedicated HR Team. As the pivotal figure in our HR operations, you'll steer initiatives that resonate with our company's ethos under the guidance of the Senior Director of Human Resources. Your role will encompass a wide array of responsibilities including talent acquisition, benefits management, payroll oversight, fostering employee relations, facilitating training and development programs, and ensuring HR compliance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a proficient HR team to efficiently drive Rugby's business objectives forward.
  • Implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives aligned with organizational goals and legal standards.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to both management and employees, offering guidance on performance, conflict resolution, and professional growth.
  • Oversee employee relations, ensuring prompt and equitable resolution of grievances and complaints.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop programs that enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations, keeping abreast of changes and advising necessary actions.
  • Spearhead HR metric tracking and reporting, offering insights to facilitate continuous improvement and organizational efficiency.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Direct talent acquisition efforts, overseeing the entire recruitment lifecycle.

While this role accommodates hybrid work arrangements with occasional telecommuting, a willingness to work primarily in-person is essential.

Are You the One?

If you possess the following skills, we encourage you to seize this opportunity:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; OR 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Thorough understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Extensive experience in employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and training and development.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical prowess and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred certification: SHRM (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP).
