Job Description

SNI Companies is partnered with a client based out of Building and Construction seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper for their growing team in Middlesex County, NJ ! Benefits offered by our client are ; Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off, Personal/Sick Time, Performance based incentives and/or bonuses


RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company.
• Record all financial transactions daily.
• Reconcile and balance bank accounts and report daily bank balances.
• Communicate with banks regarding account matters.
• Manage company credit cards, including all employee cards.
• Job costing transactions and managing P&L for each project.
• Manage receipts and ensure proper documentation and allocation.
• Handle all accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Coordinate with third-party payroll services and manage payroll.
• Prepare and file sales and other business taxes.
• Generate and maintain financial reports, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and AR/AP reports.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls.
• Utilize the company CRM to record payments and customer information.
• Manage cash flow and provide budgeting and forecasting insights.
• Collaborate with the company accountant on financial matters.
• Answer phone calls and provide general office support.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline and implement company processes for efficient financial operations.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a very similar role.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor
• Proficiency in computers, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and spreadsheets, and shared file systems.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
