Job Description

Our client is looking for a long-term temporary COVID Testing Project Manager, at least through the end of semester (Spring of 2021). Hours will be Mon, Tue, Thurs, and Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. And on Wednesdays from 11:30 to 4:00 pm. This will be working onsite at an educational institution.


    • BA/BS preferred with at least 2 years of experience.
    • Experience managing projects, including utilizing tools for tracking activities/assignments and status. Background in event planning would work well in this role as well.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both as a part of a team and individually.
    • Experience facilitating the work of various teams preferred.


The COVID Testing Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the school's regular response when asked to conduct viral testing. The project manager will be responsible for ensuring the necessary operational, logistic, supply, and staffing plans are developed, implemented, and executed in collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and implement the processes to rapidly respond to collection needs, including ensuring all elements of the collection process are in place and are compliant with all policies and regulations, i.e., staffing, registration, supplies, collection execution, specimen storage and transportation, laboratories, IT devices and solutions, and results reporting.
  • Manage the assembly of the teams and coordinate activities with team leaders prior to and while deployed.
  • Collaborate with the Testing Center to ensure adequate lab capacity exists to ensure timely processing of samples collected.
  • Maintain a log of participants and metrics.
  • Overseeing process, including crowd control.
