Staffing Now, a division of SNI Companies, has partnered with our client in hiring a Benefits Specialist – Disability. This is a full-time opportunity working with a local non-profit. The position has a direct working relationship with the client in helping them get benefits that are tailored to their specific needs.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate with client household, the team, and community service providers to formulate a comprehensive benefits acquisition and expansion strategy, aligning with household stability objectives.
- Execute the benefits acquisition plan, offering individual and group support services tailored to the specific needs of a client’s household.
- Forge strong partnerships with funding agencies and other programs to access specific benefits and resources, including Division of Housing voucher programs.
- Engage in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and expertise in field related best practices and standards.
- Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work or related experience.
- 1+ years of public benefits and voucher administration experience and implementation
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must possess a Colorado driver's license and personal vehicle.
Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position starts at $21.00 an hour. Your actual pay rate will be determined based upon your skills, knowledge and abilities including work experience.
