SNI has partner with a company in the East Longmeadow are and they are currently looking for an HR Generalist.
Lead recruitment: Manage talent acquisition, including recruiting, interviewing, and selecting candidates aligned with business goals.
Oversee onboarding and training, including a corporate-wide program, and manage terminations and unemployment claims.
Enhance employee engagement and manage talent management processes.
Update job descriptions and track performance metrics such as turnover and hiring speed.
Administer leave policies (FMLA & local leaves), ensuring compliance with legislative changes.
Support employee-management relations to boost morale, productivity, and retention.
Ensure legal compliance in employee management, reducing legal risks.
Assist with wage, salary, and performance review processes.
Develop and implement the Affirmative Action Plan, EEO-1, OSHA, and VETS-100 reporting.
Regularly review and update HR policies, compensation, benefits, and training programs to maintain competitiveness and foster retention and engagement.
Collaborate on HR projects to achieve broader goalls
Superior customer service skills, demonstrated time management & organization skills and the ability to multi-task, & ability to follow directions;
Ability to analyze data & information and make informed recommendations & advisement of risk/exposure to Leadership & Upper Management
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, training, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal, provincial and state respective employment laws;
Experience with Paylocity a plus;
5+ years’ experience in Human Resources & currently working in an HR Generalist level or higher;
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field; or combination of education/training and applicable experience (experience in manufacturing/construction preferred but not required);
